June 03, 2008 Board Meeting Agenda Item #40 Title APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO PURCHASE REPLACEMENT VEHICLES FROM THE FL STATE CONTRACT Description Approval to purchase thirty (31) vehicles with like vehicles to replace the trucks and vans in the fleet that have exceeded their useful lives and are in excess of eight (8) to ten (10) years old.  The new vehicles will be safer and more cost efficient.    Recommendation That the purchase of vehicles be purchased from the State Automobile and Light Truck Contract 071-000-08-1, be approved.
